Why is it, when I travel westbound on Gull Road, just past the light on Sprinkle, my tires or wheels make a horrible grinding noise? I'm sure a mechanic or a car aficionado can explain this, but I sure can't.

The pavement looks normal. My tires aren't bald, yet.  I don't think I need a wheel bearing replaced.  But there's about a quarter mile stretch heading westbound that the car sounds like it's going to seize up. Then as soon as I turn, it's fine. And it doesn't happen anywhere else. Hmmmm.

Has this ever happened to you? Not just here, but anywhere else?
