Holiday Break Performance: Robin Nott
Free
Mon December 28, 2015 - Wed December 30, 2015 11 a.m.
Storyteller and Folk Singer Robin Nott weaves a tale of animals and nature designed to help us identify our own stories. Two family-friendly performances will be offered free during the holiday break on December 28th and 30th at 11 a.m. in the Mary Jane Stryker Theater at the Kalamazoo Valley Museum.

Robin Nott has been performing for audiences of all ages since 1983. He was an art educator for 42 years, teaching oral traditions (storytelling) for 29 years. He has directed theater since 1974 and performed as a musician since 1964. Nott retired this year from Gull Lake High School, where he taught communication and theater arts. He plans to devote more time to storytelling and his music.

Robin first appeared at the Kalamazoo Valley Museum at the 2015 Storytelling Festival. According to Program Coordinator Annette Hoppenworth, “he was a big hit, and we wanted to bring him back.” The Museum is thrilled to have him return during the holidays so that families may be enthralled again as he twists tales of adventure with songs and music. Tickets are limited and will be available free on a first-come, first-served basis.
