American Horror Story
FX has renewed American Horror Story for a 7th season! The American Horror Story franchise has won 15 Emmy Awards and the premiere of the 6th installment, AHS: Roanoke, is the third most-watched telecast in FX Networks history (behind only the premieres of AHS: Freak Show and AHS: Hotel). John Landgraf, the CEO of FX, said in a statement:
The sustained success through six installments only proves how intensely the series resonates with fans. AHS confronts our deepest fears with unmatched suspense and style. Each new installment is a cultural event, hotly anticipated for its theme, imagery, cast and twists.”
New Marvel Netflix Series
Netflix has announced the premiere date for Marvel’s ‘Iron Fist’. The comic book-based series will premiere March 17, 2017 and will feature 13 one-hour episodes. This is the fourth Marvel live-action series on Netflix, following Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage.
