Cooling Off At Silver Beach

I took Suzannah to Silver Beach in St. Joe for her Birthday over the weekend and...it was AWESOME.

I'm not sure how I didn't realize Silver Beach is closer than South Haven.  That wasn't the only thing that surprised me on this very short road trip.

How about the fact that Silver Beach is freaking gorgeous.  I actually like it far better than South Haven.

You'll notice in the 3rd picture I'm taking a selfie with a fountain in the background.  It's not just any fountain.  It's a fountain that EVERY city should have.  I introduce you to the Whirlpool Compass Fountain in St. Joe.  Is the heat getting you down?  No Problem.  Cool off in this bad boy.  What a brilliant freaking idea.

I'd like to end this blog by patting myself on the back.  I think my girlfriend and I have accidentally created a relationship that values time together over possessions.  Sure, we still get each other gifts.  But trips to the Zoo, Dinner in South Haven, walking the beach in St. Joe...I kinda think I've figured out how to be a good boyfriend.  Sorry past girlfriends.  ;)
