If you were looking forward to riding the newest coaster at Cedar Point, you may be disappointed.

People visiting Cedar Point this week were alerted by twitter that the newest and coaster at Cedar Point had been shut down. There was no reason given for the ride being closed, but patrons were told the ride would re-open the following day...that has not happened.

According to people at the park, the coaster was being tested with only two of the three trains running. According to Mlive.com...

The new coaster has been operating with only one of its three trains since its accident on opening day, when one of the trains "lightly bumped" a parked train in the loading station.

I am sure the park is working hard to fix whatever the problem with the coaster is because on June 1st Cedar Point will host "CoasterMania". In case you are wondering, 'CoasterMania' is one of their biggest events of the year. Coaster enthusiasts and many coaster fan clubs from around the world flock to the park to ride the best roller coasters out there.

If you are planning on road-tripping to the park, follow Cedar Point on Twitter, that seems to be how they are getting the word out about the ride.
