Broncos Wrap Up Down-Up-Down Football Season With Indoor Tailgate

It literally has been a roller coaster football season for the Western Michigan University Broncos; starting with losses to two ranked powerhouses, Syracuse and Michigan, and then rattling off six straight wins, before losing its last three games. While the Broncos are bowl-eligible, last year's outcome proves nothing is assured for WMU.

In an effort to create some interest in Tuesday night's "MAC-tion" game on ESPNU, WMU is hosting an indoor tailgate at the Seelye Indoor Center. If you purchase the specially priced ticket, you get entry into the indoor tailgate in the Seelye Center.

Gates open for the game at 5pm and you have to have a ticket to the game to get into the tailgate. It's an effort by the school for the stands not to look as empty as they have in the past few ESPN weeknight games. The way the tailgate/game tickets are priced, $15 dollars gets you food and drink, and $5 gets you into the game. But, again, you have to have a game ticket.

The opponent Tuesday night is Northern Illinois, which among others has given Western P. J. Fleck and Kenny Golliday to the Detroit Lions.
