Batman vs. Superman Coming to Michigan!

FLINT, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Michigan's film industry is set to begin production on one of Hollywood's  most anxiously awaited films--the new Batman vs. Superman movie.

The two heroes will be filming at several locations in Michigan next month, including Pontiac and Flint.

Ben Affleck will star as Batman, and Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman from this 2013's "Man of Steel."

The film has a budget of $131 million, and the Michigan Film Office says nearly 6,000 extras will be needed for the movie.
