A controversial statue that was recently removed is being used to represent Kalamazoo by United Airlines at Chicago O'Hare International Airport.

The beautiful city of Kalamazoo has dozens of photo worthy spots that would better represent what we are.  The Kalamazoo Building, Arcadia Creek Festival site and the downtown view from Arcadia Creek just to name a few.

I love my city and would like to see it represented in a way we can all be proud of.  I realize some will make this a political issue.  You are free to do that if you want.  The fact is, the Fountain of the Pioneers has been removed.  Whether you agree with it's removal or not, United Airlines or anyone else using it to represent Kalamazoo is outdated to say the VERY least.

United Airlines was kind enough to respond to my tweet in less than a minute Saturday Morning.

United Airlines, I give you permission to use this photo that I took.
