Grab a seat, it's story time. This is a story from about twenty-two years ago. Western Michigan's annual football home opener is known as Comm-University Night. As I remember it, the Comm-University named event started in the early 1990's, and when current athletic director Kathy Beauregard took over in 1997, she kept it going and in fact built on it.
You probably care about the last weekend in November and a battle between Michigan and Ohio State. Well, the Big Ten conference says-fingers crossed-those games will happen in 2021.
Just like everything else this year, college football in Michigan is topsy-turvy. While Michigan and Michigan State have struggled most of this season, the Western Michigan Broncos are undefeated, and only thanks to some overtime heroics by the Wolverines, do the Broncos not have more wins this year as the big boys combined.
This is the biggest game of the year, this side of Ohio State and Michigan, and, well, truth be told, that's hasn't been much of a game this century, either.

I guess it really doesn't matter where they're playing, since there won't be any fans in the stands, but with the incredible weather today, tonight would've been a great night to head over to Waldo Stadium.
