In Michigan, things are complicated when we begin to talk about digital licenses. You are LEGALLY allowed to have a digital license PLATE, but a couple of caveats come with that

Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson announced Thursday the return of the classic Blue (and Maize) license plate, terming it a "resident favorite".

The basic services that don't really require going into the Secretary of State's offices and waiting in line, are now pretty much available at kiosks located across the state, but all that is being expanded even further.

The Battle Creek Secretary of State's Office will remain closed until further notice.
