Here's what to know if you plan to vote absentee in Michigan for the 2022 General Election on Tuesday, November 4.

The City of Kalamazoo sent out the announcement, but it applies to all Michigan residents. And what you need to know is, the last day for Michigan residents to register to vote by mail or online, thus being able able to vote in next month's election, is this coming Monday, October 19th.

A temporary order made just this past Saturday increasing access for Michigan voters who are blind, is already having an effect in Kalamazoo County. And while the order gave little time to prepare for today's election, it is, perhaps, a good preparation for future elections, especially the national Election Day on November 3rd.
