Residents take to Facebook remembering the rare 4.2 magnitude earthquake that hit West Michigan on May 2nd, 2015.

Today is the anniversary of a day that shook Southwest Michigan.  Literally.

UPDATE: As of 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, the United States Geological Survey confirmed a 3.3 earthquake with the center located near Union City. Cities from around the surrounding area reported that they felt the quake, too.

At least 29 people have died in Nepal because of the latest 7.3 magnitude earthquake as of late Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.

Ok this might not really be why, but the earth moved after this for sure!

After my entire house shook from the earthquake, I immediately checked my house for any damage. After that, I drove straight to the radio station to do live updates.

An earthquake registering 4.2 on the Richter scale shook the Kalamazoo area, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS). The epicenter was south of Galesburg.

As rare as they are in Michigan, the greater Kalamazoo area experienced an earthquake shortly after noon Saturday. At 12:23 p.m. Saturday, an earthquake, which originated 8 kilometers south of Galesburg, measured a 4.2 on the Richter scale, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS)...

You aren't crazy, there was a magnitude 4.2 earthquake felt in Kalamazoo.
