Dr. Edward Montgomery

Today was day number one on the job for Dr. Edward Montgomery, the ninth president of Western Michigan University. He began his term by shaking a lot of hands.

Incoming WMU President Dr. Edward Montgomery takes office on August 1st, but will have a formal inauguration ceremony on Friday morning, Sept. 15th at Miller Auditorium.

A former member of both the Obama and Clinton Administrations, Dr. Edward Montgomery has been named the 9th President of Western Michigan University.
