There is a Michigan city that has decided to pilot a new program that could potentially change the takeout game forever.

What should have been finalized last year, is now looking at late 2024 if they can get the ball rolling.

Bell even threatened to take his money out of Kalamazoo, and use it in Portage or other surrounding cities instead.

Seems higher than it should be.

Not only will it reduce light pollution, but it will reduce energy costs as well.

Turns out, it's NOT due to any new pollution... hopefully.

Here's a rundown of the projects going on in Kalamazoo and when they are projected to be completed.

The Kalamazoo River between Patterson St and D Ave is considered to be affected as one of the disinfection feed systems failed at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, causing water contamination.

There have been two bigger projects proposed to the city within the last couple of weeks that garnished a ton of traffic in the public meetings and while one project got overwhelming support and is set to be in full swing, the other received a ton of push back and may never get approval.
