In a previous post, I wrote that "what baseball does best is nostalgia". Another great example of this a Budweiser commercial that ran after the Cubs stunning Game 7 victory in Cleveland early this morning.

The thing that baseball does best is nostalgia. The thing that Nike does best is commercials. In the early hours of Thursday, just minutes after the Chicago Cubs won the World Series, this commercial ran on Fox.

Lebron James also made a bet on the World Series Championship and lost terribly.

The baseball season opens this Sunday night at Wrigley Field in Chicago. On Opening Day, all teams are in first place. And Chicago's Fall Out Boy will be performing at the game.

Fans of "Back to the Future 2" know that the movie predicted the Chicago Cubs would win the World Series. If fiction becomes fact, one lucky raffle ticket holder could become owner the iconic Delorean time machine/car from the movie.
