More peaceful protests over the weekend in and around Bronson Park continued to show that Kalamazoo is not full of violent people, and the demonstrators want to show the world that they're above the violence, yet, these protests will continue until the system which has oppressed them for over 400 years is changed.

BTS and Big Hit Entertainment also spoke out in support of the movement.

this is a peaceful protest, however we would like to be prepared for any complications. if something does break out, do NOT engage, stay calm and keep walking, violence only makes the protest lose meaning and gets people hurt.

It's hard to believe any city in the U.S. could look like this. But a small peaceful city like Kalamazoo is unthinkable.

There is a lot of pride to be had being apart of the black community and LGBTQ+ community and by coming together, we can better support both causes.
