Michigan Boy’s Hilarious Chip Debate with Mom Goes Viral
When a Michigan mom told her young son he couldn’t have any more chips, the pint-sized negotiator didn’t take “no” for an answer. He called in reinforcements: Grandma.
Livonia Mom Says No to Chips, but Her Son Has a Plan
Jennifer, who lives in Livonia, told Newsweek that her son Remington had been snacking on salt and vinegar chips. But with dinnertime approaching, she asked him to stop so he wouldn’t spoil his appetite.
However, this future lawyer had other ideas (Sam Bernstein Law Firm, you might want to keep an eye on this kid in about 20 years). Without hesitation, Remington called in the big guns, FaceTiming his grandmother to help argue his case.
Remington FaceTimes Grandma to Plead His Case
It’s hard not to be impressed by how articulate this little guy is.
“He followed me into the kitchen with the phone and FaceTimed his Gammi to plead his case,” Jennifer said. “It was such a bold move that I couldn’t help but laugh. I caught the moment because it was just so classically him.”
Knowing his grandmother is technically his mom’s boss, Remington asked his ‘Gammi’ to give his mother an order.
“Gammi, tell mommy to stop.”
TikTok Video of Michigan Boy’s Snack Plea Goes Viral
Remington’s video has been viewed more than 8 million times and gathered nearly a million likes since it was posted on TikTok about a week ago.
His pleas did not fall on deaf ears. Jennifer said Remington was allowed to have some chips with his dinner as long as he also ate his meal.
@heyremington Because when Mommy says no, it’s Gammi to the rescue… right?? UPDATE: Remington is Mommy’s SON. And rudeness will be deleted & blocked. #HeyRemington #ToddlerTok #ToddlersBeLike ♬ original sound - Hey Remington!
