One of the all-time great Adam Sandler films, and one that is often viewed as his best movie ever, Happy Gilmore remains iconic nearly 30 years after it was released in 1996. Now almost 30 years later Adam Sandler has announced that Happy Gilmore 2 will be making its way to Netflix, as they will be producing the sequel to the classic film.

Not only that, but Adam Sandler is starting to enlist the help of celebrities and other friends to be a part of the film, including Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, and the Kansas City Chiefs TE, and Ohio native Travis Kelce. Kelsey was said to have spoken about being a part of the long-awaited sequel to Happy Gilmore and said that he would do anything to be a part of it.

Adam Sandler confirmed on the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon that he would have something cooked up for Kelce in the film:
Travis has mentioned it, so we have a nice something for Travis. He’s a very nice guy. You guys would love him in real life. What a big, handsome guy. Funny and cool as hell. He’s a stud and he’s so funny.
Do you think Kelsey will have a scene similar to the former The Price is Right host Bob Barker? A scene where Kelsey uses his football background to tackle somebody or do you think it will be pure comedy? Will have to wait and see. Let us know if you are excited for, this new Happy Gilmore film or if you think it will be a total stinker.
There's no word if the rumors are true that Taylor Swift threatened Sandler's soul and would absorb his life energy if Adam Sandler didn't cast Kelce to be in Happy Gilmore 2. Those rumors are unfounded.
