Right away, NO, this isn't a joke. This is a real thing that an Ohio golf course is offering, because apparently... Ohio? I don't know, it's so bizarre, and at first I didn't believe it, but then I saw the twitter post of the actual note, and doubled down by calling the number on it.

Turns out, it really is real, this golf course in Ohio is offering fresh, clean wipes, underwear, and shorts to people who *ahem* SOIL themselves on the course. Is this really that big of an issue?

So the first bit of evidence I saw on this was a post from a golfer buddy of mine, who SWORE it was real, but didn't have any proof. He had golfed somewhere in the Cincinnati area, and legitimately said there was a note posted around the course, and in some of the locker rooms that if you "have an accident," they can provide a clean-up kit of sorts for you on the course.

So I started looking this up, and I'll be damned if I didn't find a twitter post not only confirming it was real, but it provided the number to call and everything. Take a look.

And you better BELIEVE I called that number faster than a Michigander leaving Ohio.

The course is Sable Creek Golf Course in Hartville, Ohio, just outside of Akron (so NOT Cincinnati like my buddy thought). But the guy on the other end of the phone confirmed that it is a real service they offer, and that they're happy to oblige if needed.

When I asked him if it happens a lot, though, he kinda clammed up, but I get it... respect the privacy.

WHY, though, would they need it there? What's so special about this golf course that keeps making golfers poop themselves, to the point that a service was needed?

It's gotta be the chili, right?

But when you really think about it, golf courses ARE huge, and if you gotta go suddenly, it's not like there's usually bathrooms or porta-potties lined up and down the back nine. So maybe there's something to this.

But really, you should be smart enough to not each the Chili - especially Skyline - before playing a round. Now you're just asking for it.
