The invention of delivery services, when it came to food was a game changer for restaurants, allowing them to make sales and profit, just by taking their product and delivering it to the home of the purchaser. This became incredibly important during the pandemic, and now more than ever people are working for companies like GrubHub, DoorDash, and other gig services.

You're also starting to see places that historically didn't offer this kind of service use the delivery model, such as grocery stores. Well, get ready because apparently, dispensaries are the next to add their name to the growing list of industries now allowing delivery. One company is looking to grow the service bigger than ever.

LeafLink, which is the nation’s largest cannabis wholesale platform is partnering with Cannadelivery to apparently kickstart their campaign to offer the service throughout Michigan, according to a statement:

Through this innovative approach, cannabis retailers can work with Cannadelivery to provide their customers with a uniquely tailored menu developed from LeafLink’s analytics to ensure it includes the products that residents like the most. At the same time, Cannadelivery cuts the cost of launching delivery for the retailer by providing the drivers and vehicles. In return for promoting the service, the retailer gets a percentage of the revenue generated from delivery sales.

I only hope that those who are delivering the product aren't partaking in it while driving. The last thing we need is more impaired drivers on the road. Especially if they're also doing a food delivery service. If they break out with the munchies, you're gonna be getting a half-eaten burger. I'm kidding, of course, they'd finish the burger for sure.
