Popular Kids Drink Recalled In Ohio For Dangerous Arsenic Levels
I'm not gone lie to y'all, this one hit me where it hurts because not only is this drink one of my favorite drinks of all time, but this specific brand is my go-to brand for this drink. Alright, I'll rip the Band-Aid off, its apple juice, yes, I'm this upset about apple juice. Apple juice is a top tier beverage as it can be enjoyed with breakfast, a thirst quencher on a hot day, with dinner, or any other time of the day. You can argue with whoever you want but apple juice is superior to other juices.
Now, back to the problem at hand, there is a brand of apple juice that has been pulling their products off the shelves as there are concerns. Here we are again, talking about another recall because we can't escape them but what we can do is be aware and remove them from our homes to stay safe. Ohio, look in your fridges and avoid this brand of apple juice at the store to keep yourself and children safe.
Alright, alright I won't hold it in any longer, make sure you are staying away from and removing Great Value Apple Juice from your home. The incident has been bumped up to a class 2 recall which means the use of, or exposure to, a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences," but is unlikely to cause "serious adverse health consequences.

There were 9,535 cases of Great Value Apple Juice recalled for containing inorganic arsenic action that is above the legal limit. That makes it sound like drinking and driving but nonetheless, this apple juice is not safe for yourself or your family. To be specific, the recall is only for Great Value Apple Juice that is being sold at Walmart stores across the country, I would presume that if found at another store it would be safe but then again, I wouldn't trust that.
The contaminated Great Value beverages in question were sold in six-packs of 8-ounce plastic bottles with the UPC code 0-78742-29655-5. The recalled apple juice has a "Best if used by" date code of DEC2824 CT89-6. This means that the gallon and other size containers of the Great Value Apple Juice should be safe to drink but that is your call to make.
