It's not all the time that a new restaurant opens up near you as opening and maintaining a business is one of the hardest things to do. Another thing that's not common in the restaurant industry is for that new restaurant to be given raving reviews that are driving business up and pushing them towards the top of the list.

Most of the time, it takes a few months or even years for restaurants to gain enough traffic and respect before they pop off. The first couple of months or years is spent getting the word out and relying on a few happy customers to encourage more new faces to visit, but that's not the case for this new restaurant on the East side of Michigan which is quickly gaining traction.

It's not every day that a new restaurant pops onto the scene and people are excited to go there unless it is a chain restaurant that people have been clamoring for. Corktown Taphouse is located in Downtown Detroit on Michigan Avenue and has quietly become one of the best restaurants in Detroit and Michigan as a whole.

Corktown Taphouse hasn't be around for long, but people are already raving about all of the great things they have to offer. First off, Corktown has opportunities for you to play interactive games such as duck pin bowling and darts, but that's not even the main attraction for visiting customers.

@thedetroitdiet Corktown Taphouse just opened and is going to be one of the best spots to visit with friends this fall/winter! Make sure you get a reservation for your group and definitely order those nachos! #detroit #nachos #food #bowling ♬ Island In The Sun - Weezer

As you can see in the TikTok video above, Corktown Taphouse has over 70 self-serve taps on their wall and tons of TVs to enjoy a game on. You can show up with a group of friends or all alone and purchase a wristband at the front counter. This will provide access to all of the self-serve taps and other activities.

While the drinks and activities are fun, did you see the food they have available to order? That burrito was massive, the smoked dry rub wings looked to die for, the pretzel nuggets and cheese were glistening, and did you see the tacos stuffed inside the shell? I don't know about you, but I am 10 times hungrier than I was before looking at all of that delicious food.
