As Michiganders one of the first stores we are introduced to is Meijer, it's OUR version of what a grocery store should be, and we hold it near and dear to our hearts. We aren't necessarily gatekeepers, but we do take trips to Meijer and the slander against it very seriously.

When thinking about going grocery shopping all of the horror stories come rushing to your mind like getting stuck waiting in long lines because there are only a few cashiers working, the item you're looking for being out of stock, or just getting dragged to the grocery store on a Saturday morning.

Now, a trip to the grocery store isn't always bad because you get to see the new snacks and food items that come out, it's some time out away from the house and in public, and don't even get me started on the immaculate level of people watching you get to take in. Grocery store trips have become nothing short of insane and for the most part, are rewarding.
