One Of A Kind Cornhole Bar Opens In Michigan

I think one of the coolest things about American culture is the desire to make a bar out of every niche interest. When you look across the 50 states, there are bars based around the love of hunting, the love of women, the love of the mountains, sports bars, and many other things that people bond over. It's truly amazing the way American people think of these concepts.

Michigan is one of the states that has several different kinds of bars here and a lot of them are based on these niche interest. There are tons of sports bars and hunting based bars around the mitten state but there are hundreds of breweries and other types of bars as well.

I am surprised that in 2024 there are still new bar concepts being brought to the table but that's exactly what happened in Clinton Township on the East side of Michigan. Two veterans got together with each other and planned to combine two of their favorite activities to create a new bar and give the residents and visitors of Michigan a new experience.

They have opened up Great Shots Backyard Bar and games which is a combination of cornhole and other backyard games along with food and drinks. Let's think about it, this is a smart idea because this is something that a lot of people in Michigan already do but now, they are able to do it year-round since it will be indoors.

As you can see in the TikTok Video above, there are close to 10 sets of boards set up and ready to play. It looks as if they host tournaments as well and have painted boards for picture opportunities. Of course, they have places to sit when you order food and a bar for the drinks. There are also multiple televisions playing sports games and programming to incorporate that experience as well.
