How much cash would it take for you to relocate to Vermont?

The Governor of Vermont is offering up to $10,000 for people to move to his state. If you can work from home with an employer based in a different state you can dwell in the place that creates great ice cream and is home to one of the Von Trapp children. Vermont wants you!

According to ABC.com...

On May 30, Vermont Gov. Phil Scott signed a bill committing his state to paying people to pack their bags, move to his state and work remotely for a business in another state.

The state has a small population and even fewer workers. with that in mind, they are searching for new residents. The program is explained as basically reimbursing people for their moving expenses, but there are a few things you need have to qualify for the program.

1. You must work remotely
2. You must work full time for a business not located in Vermont
3. You must establish state residency by Jan. 1, 2019.
4. Current residents of the Green Mountain State are not eligible.

That is not too many hoops to jump through if you want to relocate, but you would miss out on all the great things Michigan has to offer...
