Here's the long and short of it:

The world's tallest and shortest men met Thursday in London to help Guinness celebrate its 60th birthday.

Sultan Kosen, 31, of Turkey, stands 8-feet-3-inches tall, while Chandra Bahadur Dangi, 75, of Nepal, is 1-foot-7-inches tall.

Ironically, Kosen says the two men have a lot in common:

Even though he is short and I am tall, we have had similar struggles throughout our lives and, when I look into Chandra's eyes, I can see he's a good man."

Of course, he needs a telescope to look in his eyes, but you get the point.
