I am a first time parent and I know a lot of the basics of parenting. Teach manors, respect, and the basics of right and wrong. I know there is a lot more than that. That is why I am going to be in Battle Creek tonight at Battle Creek Montessori! Inspirational speaker Chick Moorman will be there teaching "Peaceful Parenting"! Chick is going to go over thinks like:

•  Eliminate whining, back talk, and procrastination.
• Gain cooperation without nagging or yelling.
• Hold children accountable without wounding their spirit.
• Communicate anger in a respectful way.
• Design consequences that are reasonable, respectful, and related to the misbehavior
