After months of teasers, General Motors finally revealed the new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro. It's not radically different from the current model, and yes, it sure is pretty. I have owned four Pontiac Firebirds in my lifetime. Two are still in the family. It doesn't appear that GM is bringing back the Firebird anytime soon, so the Camaro will have to do. The current Camaro model and the new one seem to be more based on the original style when the car came out in 1967 to compete against the Ford Mustang. But you're not here for a history lesson. America has had a love affair with sports cars for over 60 years. This car keeps that flame burning.

The press I'm reading is this new Camaro is "lighter and quicker." It's definitely shiny. Take a look at the reveal video from General Motors. And GM, please bring back Pontiac and the Firebird. A lot of people miss the Pontiac brand.
