Tori Spelling cannot catch a break. The actress and reality star was secretly hospitalized for six days amid the cheating scandal that has rocked her marriage to Dean McDermott, with whom she has four children.

That's no surprise. Tending to four kids while dealing with the stress and humiliation of very public affair controversy, while filming it for a reality show, can wear a girl down to a nub.

E! confirmed that the former 'Beverly Hills, 90210' starlet was discharged on Saturday afternoon (April 26). The cause of her admittance has not yet been revealed. McDermott was there and helped his wife into an SUV. A pink hospital band was still on Spelling's wrist when she exited.

An insider tells E! that McDermott was with his wife the entire duration of her stay, even sitting with her for up to 10 hours at a time. It sounds like he is trying to make up for his waywardness and for straying.

"He would arrive by 10 AM and didn't leave until 8 most nights," the source said.

An observer said, "He seemed very stressed out and worried. He would bring food and often only left Tori to go outside to catch some air or make a phone call.''

Spelling, 40, has said that airing her family's dirty laundry on her 'True Tori' reality show was her way to set the record straight and to wrestle power back from tabloids, who are known for getting things, like details and facts, wrong. She even wrote on her blog: "I needed the chance to tell my own story. At the moment, I don't know if it will have a happy ending. But I need to get my voice back, and this is my way of doing that."

The couple was also recently accused of faking the cheating scandal in order to get reality show ratings, since they are letting it all hang out on the Lifetime show.

Whatever the case, health comes first and we hope Tori is doing better now that she is out of the hospital.
