The Leaves are changing and soon the air will be crisp! This makes me want to take in all the best Michigan has to offer this fall!

I was inspired by Mlive's list of the top 30 things to do in Michigan this autumn. So I took a look into some of the great events Michigan has to offer this fall and these are currently my top 5 must do....

    Farm 2 Fork

    This is a great oppurtunity if take in Gaylord Michigan and visit The Tree Top Resort. On Sept 23rd they are having an event called 'Farm To Fork', you can enjoy an amazing 4 course meal all made with local ingredients from area farms! The meal is also paired with different beers and wines. Make a weekend out of the trip and take advantage of thier lovely spa or the beautiful golf course!

    Paw Paw Wine and Harvest Festival

    This local festival takes place Sept 9th through Sept 11th and will please any wine lover. Plus, it is not only for those over the age of 21; there is a grape stomp (which always reminds me of the classic 'I Love Lucy' epsoide) and a parade on Sunday!

    Art Prize 2016

    This is truly an inspiring event that starts on Sept 21st and runs through Oct. 9th. Artist from around the world come to Grand Rapids to comepete for up to $200,00; but also to delight and surprise art lovers of all jenres. The show is free to the public, and the art is everywhere in a 3 mile area. Musuems, resturants, bars and the streets all show the great talent of international artists.

    Bronco Bash 2016

    This event is near and dear to my heart! When I first moved to Kalamazoo as a student, it was Bronco Bash that introduced me not only to college life but the community I would be living in. Bronco Bash will have not only have a food truck feating carnival foods, but great musical acts. 'Brotha Jams' will be playing along with 'The Class Acts'. Students can learn about student life on campus as well as off! Come support our newest students on Friday Sept 9th.

    The Allegan County Fair

    Two Words....

    BRETT MICHAELS! ....ok, really it is more then two words! Yes, Brett Micheals will be playing Sept. 9th at the Allegan County Fair but there is so much to see and do at this event. If you come early enoungh, you might get lucky and see 'Rocky The Rooster' (the unoffical mascot of the fair) in costume. There is great food, harness horse racing and incredible events that will satisfy every one in the family. The Fair runs through Sept 9th to the 17th, so have plenty of time to make your plans!
