Here is a list of the top 5 best haunted attractions near Kalamazoo:

  • Jacksons Underworld

    1318 Wildwood Ave, Jackson, MI 49202 (517) 936-5834

It was well worth the trip to Jackson to go through this haunted house which was voted the best haunted attraction in 2014-2015.  I didn’t pee but I never scream and I screamed like a little girl.  It was terrifying.

“Very scary, many different props and rooms, long walk thru, pricey but better than most. Charts at the entrance keep track of how many people had various types of ” accidents” of puke, pee and more! Andy S. via Yelp

“People throwing up or passing out.” – Kristin Dawson via Google Reviews

  • Fear the Farm

20309 Capital Ave NE, Battle Creek, MI 49017 (269) 883-6418

I went to Fear the Farm in Battle Creek last year during Halloween and got to shoot at zombies.  It was a BLAST. Check out the video of me taking aim at the undead.

  • Psycho Ward

    7656 Ravine Road Kalamazoo, MI 49009 (269) 491-0060

Kalamazoo is infamous for its historic asylum. Psycho Ward continues that historical tradition each Halloween.

“Psycho Ward is based on the legend of Floyd Cranston…Two days into the search, investigators made a horrific discovery deep in the swamp. Scattered across more than an acre were the dismembered and decomposing remains of more than 30 poor souls. A few days later, swat teams cornered Floyd not far from the gruesome scene, wearing the face of one of his victims as a mask. It took jurors just two hours to return a guilty verdict and commit Floyd to North Carolina’s notorious “Psycho Ward” Correctional Institution. Unfortunately, authorities had no idea just how “at home” Floyd would be at the facility.” – Psycho Ward’s Website
