Since replacing John Stewart as the host of Comedy Central's The Daily Show in 2015, Trevor Noah has been making national headlines for his shows' somewhat harsh reality style portrayal of the mainstream media and government. I myself was sceptical when he first took over, being a big John Stewart fan, But Trevor Noah had done an exceptional job at the helm.

The Daily Show is a late-night talk and new satire program that, as of October 4th, had had 3,159 episodes, and has been home to many great comedians like Steve Carell, Stephan Colbert, John Oliver, and Beth Littleford. Noah began his career as a comedian, presenter, and actor in his native South Africa in 2002. He held several television hosting roles with the South African broadcast Corporation.

Fans of his can catch him next year at the Fox Theatre in Detroit on April 26 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets ($35+) go on sale Friday, Oct. 19 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased on Ticketmasters website.
