Tech Uprising: HP to start selling Windows 7 again

You may have heard it. I certainly have. A lot of people really don’t like Windows 8 (or 8.1) and HP is spinning it as back “by popular demand“. HP is back to selling Windows 7 on select models of PC’s.With Microsoft ending support  for the XP operating system in a few months, this may be a good time for HP to be doing this.

I’m not going to pile on Windows 8 as I haven’t really played with it, but my guess is, this is a bit of a generational thing. Win 8 is more tablet-friendly. But for getting work done, people are just more comfortable with what they’re used to.

The other news from Microsoft is a revamped Windows sometime next year, probably to be billed at Windows 9, so Win 8 haters might buy it.
