Later additions by Edna Bassett and Dallas Boudeman surrounded the building, but look up next time you pass it on South Street, and you’ll see the remains of the old house behind the newer (c.1906) additions. If you’ve ever dined indoors at Taco Bob’s, you were sitting inside one of the original parlors.

Taco Bob Ketteman’s Celebration of Life Postponed
"Taco Bob" Ketteman passed away March 1st at the age of 60. A man with a love for family, community, and tacos, Ketteman opened his first Taco Bob's location in Kalamazoo in 1988. As popularity grew over the next 30 years, he would open five additional locations in Portage, Vicksburg, and Mattawan. He is survived by his wife and four children.
