The Daily Show has gone on long enough that you’d have a hard time picking any one dream cast to reunite. Nevertheless, Stephen Colbert may have found it, setting joint Late Show appearances for Jon Stewart, John Oliver, Samantha Bee and more.
Pure coincidence, but I just finished watching this clip of the Downton Abbey cast reading their dialogue with American accents, and then I saw the post about Tess wanting to do Missed Connections in British. Either way, a tad bizarre.
Like most people, I don't watch the late night talk shows. The good stuff is on Twitter and You Tube the next day. In fact, I still haven't seen Colbert's Late Show. But this bit makes me think I need to at least follow their YouTube page.
Since Stephen Colbert was named to replace David Letterman as CBS' Late Show host, there's been some folks questioning whether he could be funny without his Daily Show/Colbert Report character. I think he'll be fine.
Stephen Colbert's last show was in December and he is not yet host of The Late Show. As he was just itching to host ANY talk show, he traveled on over to Monroe County and hosted the public access show! For those who lived on the east side it was pretty cool to watch...
