This whole "closing your email" is actually new to me. I didn't know I was supposed to say anything after what I originally wanted to say!

Bloomber.com says "best" and "thanks" are the most common ways to end an email. Now ending an email at all is outdated. You shouldn't use a close at all! So for your next email just end it with a period and call it a day right? Not so fast. I have friends who have had to sit though HR meetings because they DIDN'T close their email with anything and it sounded insensitive. Yes, that is the world we live in today: getting in trouble at work for sounding insensitive over email.

How about you?  Have you ever sent an email that someone took the wrong way? Will this happen more with NO more closings for emails?
