It was a blast from the past.

When I was a kid, my dad would take me along when he went through the car wash. And he went to one of those drive-thru ones, where you could walk along the side and watch the whole process.

Well, I couldn't do that, as I was driving it through, but it's still cool to watch the whole process.

I don't take my own cars, as one sits too low to the ground and would get stuck on the track, and the other one is beige and never looks dirty.

But after my son and I did Kathy's brakes, I ran her black car through the car wash, and it was just one of those fun things that you forget to appreciate sometimes, like getting a haircut. I always loved that, too.
