Christmas is four months away, but thanks to Gwen Stefani and Sia, it may have just come early.

The pop stars, who both released 2016 albums (This Is What The Truth Feels Like and This is Acting, respectively) are taking decidedly merrier approaches to their next collections of work. Yup, both are planning to tell it on the mountain, catch mommy kissing Santa Claus and wander upon a midnight clearing — they're each planning holiday albums.

Sia's next festive collection of work was part of a bigger announcement yesterday (August 1) that she's signed with Atlantic Records and moved on from RCA. And the label seemed happy to have her.

"Sia is a once-in-a-generation artist. Her extraordinary gifts as a singer and songwriter, her revolutionary approach to the art of performing, her groundbreaking videos – everything she does comes from a deep wellspring of inspiration and imagination,” said Atlantic Records Chairman/CEO Craig Kallman, according to Billboard.

As for Stefani, Idolator reported that the "Misery" singer has registered a number of new songs that seem to point directly to Christmas: "Christmas Eve,” “My Gift Is You,” “Under The Christmas Lights” and “When I Was A Little Girl.”

Stefani told Weekender in July "I’ve been working on new music, which I’m so excited to release this year," but never decisively confirmed that her next project would be a Christmas album.

"I can’t say too much about it just yet, but I’ve had so much fun in the studio," she added.
