A semi truck driver from Michigan’s east side was injured Tuesday morning in a rollover accident along I-94.

Calhoun County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the westbound side of the highway near the Old 27 exit near Marshall around 9:30am, where the semi hauling wooden pallets had rolled while exiting the highway.

The 51-year-old Highland Park man driving was taken to Bronson-Kalamazoo for minor injuries. Authorities believe the man was going through an unknown medical condition causing the accident. He was wearing his seat belt and alcohol is not a factor.

The pallets that came off the semi are being loaded and transported by other tractor trailers later Tuesday.
