Samsung Announces Global Recall

According to ABC News, Samsung announced over Labor Day weekend that it would both recall and stop sales of its Galaxy Note 7 smartphone because of exploding batteries.

Apparently, dozens of the devices exploded or caught fire, and Samsung is tracing the issue back to the phone’s lithium battery.
