Seems like everyone trying to cash in on the outdoor hockey fad. It all started with an outdoor game in Alberta, Canada back in 2003, and since 2008 the NHL has been playing the New Year's Day Winter Classic, and in the past year, the Stadium Series has seen even more games played, even in warm climates like Los Angeles.

Last year, the Broncos took it outside at Comerica Park and capture the Great Lakes Invitational title.

Now the WMU Broncos are going to take it outside again when they play rival Miami University, at Soldier Field in Chicago on Saturday, February 7th. The game is part of a hockey doubleheader with Michigan and Michigan State facing off in the second match-up.

Dress warm!
