Woodland Middle School Principal Cari Thomson in Longview, Wash. is being sued for saving a student's life.

The boy had a severe asthma attack and didn't have his inhaler on him, so the principal pulled out her inhaler and gave it to him, according to The Daily News.

She saved the boy's life right? Well, the boy's parents don't see it that way. The Daily News said the parents are pressing charges against the principal, because she used her own prescription inhaler without permission.

As a parent, this story just blew my mind! I absolutely would have done the same thing that the principal did to help this child breathe. There's no way I could have just stood there and watched this boy gasp for air until the ambulance arrived.

A KFR listener called and said it's illegal for anyone to provide a prescription drug to anyone and that the principal should have waited for the ambulance.

Sorry, but I don't care what the law says. I'm going to do whatever I can to save a child. The parents are idiots.
