Authorities have released the first sketches and artist renderings of what they believe the woman may have looked like. When the body was discovered by a hunter in the woods between Curtisville and Alcona Dam, investigators believed her remains could have been there for up to four years.

The woman was between 30-50 years old and approximately 4-foot-7” to 5-foot-6, according to Michigan State anthropologists who studied the case. They also believed her to be while not excluding the possibility of her being another skin color.

The woman did have a skull fracture when found, which could have been a reason for death. Anyone who may have any information in solving this case is urged to contact Michigan State Police at 855-642-4847
