'Ask for Angela' is something we should consider here in Southwest Michigan to combat sexual assault.

The idea of this poster is to spread the word about 'Ask for Angela', a new way to combat sexual abuse that was created by a county council in England.

If you are on a bad date and feel unsafe, or met someone at a bar that you feel threatened by, you can ask the bar staff for 'Angela'.  When the bar staff hears this code word, they know you need help.  The staff will discreetly call you a taxi or help you out of the situation without causing a scene.

"The 'Ask for Angela' posters are part of our wider #NoMore campaign which aims to promote a culture change in relation to sexual violence and abuse, promote services in Lincolnshire and empower victims to make a decision on whether to report incidents." - The Independent

How do we spread the word about 'Ask for Angela' here in Southwest Michigan? It starts by using the hashtag
#NoMore, reaching out to local bars, and telling your friends.
