Pennfield’s Alexa Stephenson Is This Week’s KFR/Meijer Athlete of the Week

Pennfield's Alexa Stephenson, a junior who plays softball, is this week's 103.3 KFR/Meijer H.S. Athlete of the Week.

According to Alexa's mom, Tammy, Alexa has been outstanding this Spring. pitching "a 2 hit shut out against Harper Creek. She is the team's number 1 pitcher, recording a double header victory against Marshall as well. Alexa recorded 6 strikes outs each game. She is a team leader who leads by example."

In the classroom, Alexa excels, too. "Alexa's current GPA for this year is a 3.75."

"She volunteers with team summer camps in the community for younger athletes, and was named the the Battle Creek all-city softball team last year, her sophomore season. By the time she graduates she will have received 8 varsity letters."
