Patient Target Employee Goes Viral

Ishmael Gilbert is a cashier at a Target in Indianapolis who showed real patients with an elderly  customer who paid in change. You can imagine how all the other people in line would be not as patient waiting to pay for their items. 35 year old Sarah Bigler was that impatient persona next in line. She was shopping with her one and a half year old daughter and like most parents shopping with a young child, wanted to get in and out!

Then she realized she needs to show patience for her daughter to teach her a valuable lesson! She snapped a picture and posted it on Facebook last Wednesday. Here we are a week later and it has gone viral!

I wish I could say I would be as patient as her and the cashier, but I would be silently annoyed. I think it is because I realize everyone’s time is valuable and I hate it when my time is wasted so I make sure not to waste others time. For example, if I had a bunch of change I would go to a Coinstar or to the bank and exchange the coins for bills.
