PARK(ing) Day, is an annual worldwide event where artists, designers and citizens transform metered parking spots into temporary public parks. Nine parking spots in downtown Kalamazoo will be transformed and allow residents and visitors to have a little fun during their afternoons.

In each parking spot, there will be games and activities like board games, jump roping, storytelling, and yoga.  Parking day goes on from 11 a.m. through 2 p.m. this Friday, September 16th.
