My Surprise Birthday Party

Saturday I turned 21...again.

My girlfriend Suzannah went to a lot of trouble to find people from all stages of my life. My first girlfriend (from when I was 5), first and second cousins, friends from high school, friends from KFR and friends I made through her.

I suspected something was up when my close friend Julie acted overly surprised that my birthday was coming up last week. By Saturday morning, Julie and Suzannah both had thrown me off enough that no longer thought a surprise birthday party was in the works.

Then we show up at Harvey's in downtown Kalamazoo for dinner. The whole gang was waiting upstairs.
