If you shop at Costco, soon, you'll need a different credit card to pay for your bulk food and goods.

Costco is dropping its deal with American Express, which was the only credit card the store accepted for in-store purchases for the past 16 years (it also accepts Visa and MasterCard for online purchases).

Starting on April 1, 2016, Costco will be ONLY accepting Visa credit cards for its gas stations and stores, according to CNN Money. The retailer will use Citigroup as its exclusive provider of co-branded credit cards.

Let's be honest, who do you know owns an American Express Card? NO ONE.

Also, I was sort of shocked that Costco will not be accepting MasterCard. Every store I have shopped at or restaurant who accepted a Visa also accepted MasterCard.
