On Thursday, December 28th, the Stanford Cardinals go head to head with the TCU Horned Frogs at the infamous Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas for the 25th Annual Valero Alamo Bowl. One Michigan High School Marching band was selected to perform at halftime.

Holly High School will be returning to the bowl scene as they were selected to make the trip out to Texas. Oddly enough, 14 high school marching bands were chosen for the halftime show and this will be the sole representative from Michigan.

The team spent the better part of the year fundraising in order to be able to go.  The last time the band performed at a halftime show was back in 2015 at the Outback Bowl, where U of M will be playing this year against South Carolina on New Years Day.

The Bowl games for Michigan schools are as follows:

Outback Bowl (January 1st)

Raymond James Stadium
Tampa, Florida

San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl (December 28th)

Famous Idaho Potato Bowl (December 22nd)

As we all know Western got totally hosed out of a "Bowl" game this year but I'll still be cheering on my Wolverines.
